I have been interested in natural health/alternatives for my pets from the time that Finn experienced hemorrhagic gastro twice while being on a kibble diet which led me to starting to feed a raw diet. I have always had a love of animals even as a kid and being involved in animal rescue for a few years before I bought the store.
I was the owner of Pet Deli before Fiona from 2015 until Fiona took over in 2022. I read a lot about raw feeding and follow the principle of variety in their diet just like us is how I feed my animals. I loved building up the business around raw feeding/natural alternatives for all pets. When I had the store we had 5 cats, 2 dogs, 4 chickens, 2 bunnies & aviaries of birds.
I handed over the reins of the store to Fiona to pursue another passion of ours which is travelling around Australia living in our van with our 2 dogs - Finn (14 years old) & Tubby - (12 years old). I am still involved with Pet Deli behind the scenes, I have been implementing Fiona's POS & website builds. It has been a joy to still be included and help Fiona grow the business in new ways.
