Welcome to my world, where animals have always held a special place in my heart, fuelling my deepest passion. Growing up surrounded by various furry companions, it was dogs that truly stood out for me. At the age of 18, I had the privilege of choosing a dog for myself, and that's when Theo, my German Shepherd, became my soulful companion. Theo not only enriched my life but also sparked a journey into positive reinforcement training when he faced reactive behaviours.
For six fulfilling years, I immersed myself in the world of force-free dog training and became a dedicated doggy daycare attendant. In 2021, my path led me to Pet Deli, where my long-standing curiosity about raw feeding found a home. The former owner, Deb, was seeking someone eager to learn and assist on delivery days, and I eagerly stepped into the role. My time with the Pet Deli crew has been a continuous journey of learning and growth that I cherish deeply.
Embracing a new chapter in my life, I embarked on the pursuit of my dream job as a zookeeper in 2022. After resuming studies, I secured a position at the Adelaide Zoo, where I've joyfully immersed myself in new adventures for the past 16 months.
When I'm not caring for the incredible animals at the zoo or working with the Pet Deli team, you'll find me hanging out with my cherished dogs, Bosley and Kingsley. Bosley, my 4-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, has been an amazing companion on this journey of learning and growth. Together, we navigate life's adventures, making every moment a celebration of our shared love for animals.
